Morning

DATE 31st March, 2023 TOPIC Morning  LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 5:3 KJV My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord ; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up. The morning brings refreshing grace and mercy, with this we need to engage in true fellowship with the LORD. Many waste their mornings by engaging in things that do not glorify the LORD nor do they reverence the one who has redeemed and sustained us through the night daily. We see how devoted the Psalmist was, in the anchor scripture. He made a decision to give his voice to the LORD every morning and he spoke boldly in Psalm 63:1 KJV O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; This morning let our lips and hearts seek the LORD who is worthy of our praise. Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness early and daily, lest the cares of this world which are unending will preoccupy the minds and cl

Who is Jesus Christ to You?

DATE 30th March, 2023 TOPIC Who is Jesus Christ to You? LIVING SCRIPTURE Mark 8:27-29 KJV And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?  [28] And they answered, John the Baptist: but some say, Elias; and others, One of the prophets.  [29] And he saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Peter answereth and saith unto him, Thou art the Christ. This is a timely question to everyone this morning, what is your description, understanding and comprehension of Christ Jesus? The right answer shows how far we've gone with Him in love. From the anchor scripture we see that people only saw His acts, manifestations and miracles so they saw Him as several people because their understanding has not developed and grown into the love of Christ. They crowd speculated on whom Christ is, and this shows how so many church goers see Jesus as just a prophet or someone who is able to pe

The Righteous man

DATE 29th March, 2023 TOPIC The Righteous man LIVING SCRIPTURE Romans 5:6,19 KJV For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.  [19] For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Everyday God seeks a man to send and empower for His good works here on earth but there are only a few who fit into the spiritual requirements of God. Right after the disobedience of Adam the son of God, sin began to multiply and spread throughout the nations and men became gloryless and unworthy for the assignments assigned by God. God had to send Christ Jesus who was in Heaven at that time to prepare Himself for the work on earth, so Christ Jesus came as a missionary from Zion.  The anchor scripture reveals that Christ died for the ungodly, yes none were righteous and none is righteous without Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit. Jesus lived here on earth not resembling the way of sin but taught us the way

Giving

DATE 28th March, 2023 TOPIC Giving LIVING SCRIPTURE Luke 6:38 KJV Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again. Giving is lending a 'helping heart', we are used to the catch phrase- 'helping hand', but giving is nothing, rendered null and void, if it is not from rthe heart. The Father so loved the world that He gave life (His Son), and the Son so loved The Father that He gladly obeyed The Father throughout His journey on earth, that's why till today, that giving counts and it is still making wonderful impacts till now. This Giving id powerful because it is backed up by Love, Giving without love will soon fade away. As children of God, we are expected to love first, so that whatever it is we give will last, will count and will have impacts. Do not give expecting something in return, giving is not a

Proof of Faith

DATE 25th March, 2023 TOPIC Proof of Faith LIVING SCRIPTURE Daniel 1:11-15 KJV Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,  [12] Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.  [13] Then let our countenances be looked upon before thee, and the countenance of the children that eat of the portion of the king's meat: and as thou seest, deal with thy servants.  [14] So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.  [15] And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's meat. Proof of Faith : this act is seen performed only by a few people in the Bible. These were men and women that trusted the LORD more than life. As children of God we need to learn to build our faith by knowing more of the LORD through His Words and Spirit. Daniel was a pec

Close to God

DATE 23rd March, 2023 TOPIC Close to God LIVING SCRIPTURE Matthew 15:8 KJV This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Our Heavenly Father wants us his children to draw closer to Him. But what is the right way of approach to the LORD? When look at the anchor scripture, it reveals that the people draw nearer to God with their mouths and lips alone, which means they engaged their minds alone but separated their hearts desire and depths from the LORD. The same thing happens in our present society, we see so many believers that are men pleasers, so full of praises from their lips and mouths alone just to gain something in the end.  God the Father this morning wants us to draw closer to Him with our hearts, our mouths and lips. We believe His word with our hearts and minds and confess Him gloriously with our lips and mouths. That is the right way to draw close to Him. Nathaniel the disciple of Christ Jesus

Drawn from God

DATE 22nd March, 2023 TOPIC Drawn from God LIVING SCRIPTURE James 1:14 KJV But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed. ..but everyone, even christian believers can be drawn away from God. To be drawn away from the LORD is to willfully leave God's presence, due to the lust of the heart and disobedience. King Saul was a perfect example of a great king who was lifted by the LORD but had a disobedient heart and mind and was drawn away from the presence of the LORD and an unclean spirit tormented him continuously. When you are drawn away from God's presence you'll be naked and vulnerable. In similar circumstance we see how King Solomon left the presence of God due to disobedience of heart and his lustful tatse for strange women. These women and their idols made him lose his love for the LORD and ways of truth and holiness. King Solomon began to worship idols forgetting the LORD. This led him away from the LORD because of his heart's desire.

Altar

DATE 17th March, 2023 TOPIC ALTAR LIVING SCRIPTURE Genesis 8:20 KJV And Noah builded an altar unto the Lord ; and took of every clean beast, and of every clean fowl, and offered burnt offerings on the altar. An altar is a sacred place of worship, fully consecrated for the specific purpose of fellowship and intimacy with God. There are various kinds of altars mentioned in the holy book; for praise, for worship, for prayer, for sacrifice, for atonement and more. Which were made with either rocks, or neatly carved stones to serve as a sacred spot. Father Abraham built several altars and each marks a spiritual stand till today in the land of Israel. Jacob also built several altars signifying the visitation and manifestations of God in his life. Christ Jesus has made a way for the church to be consecrated unto the LORD but we must build our Altars unto God for deep worship and intimacy. A good example is the family altar; a place for devotion and bonding with God. Also we have prayer rooms

Greed

DATE 14th March, 2023 TOPIC Greed LIVING SCRIPTURE Proverbs 30:15-16 KJV The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:  [16] The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough. The state of greed begins from an unsatisfied heart and mind of either man or spirit. We see Lucifer as a case study on how his greed drove his thoughts into thinking he could attain more height but the height he thought of was the throne of God. Greed is wanting more uncontrollably and unsatisfying for anything and everything. Despite the perfection of beauty and works that the LORD used to create him, still he wanted more and more. He was dethroned from Heaven alongside his fellow greedy companions but he never learns. He came and stole the key and authority of earth from Adam the first man. He was still not satisfied, he plans to sow his corrupt seed

By the Waters

DATE 13th March, 2023 TOPIC By the Waters LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 1:3 KJV And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. This morning we are looking at the location of growth and increase as children of God. The word "tree" was used to describe the growing process of christians and most especially the kind of trees planted by the waters. Taking a detailed survey and research about trees, we discover that the growth and development process of a tree planted by rivers of water is different from a tree planted anywhere else. The difference is huge and crystal clear. The tree by the rivers of water does not struggle for nutrients or water, it just stretches its roots underneath to the rivers and remains refreshed while other trees would stretch and stretch deep into the earth in search of water and nutrients to survive. Christ Jesus has given

Gentle

DATE 10th March, 2023 TOPIC Gentleness LIVING SCRIPTURE Galatians 5:22 KJV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Our Lord Jesus Christ was always calm irrespective of the tension and circumstance he faced with the crowds and the pharisees. He was approachable and still is today whenever we call on him, need him, pray to him and worship him. A gentle heart knows peace and carries no worries. Making his thoughts balanced and mind at rest. He always considers others and saw the light of each situation without rushing into it, calmly he accessed every matter and made the people marvel saying; what manner of man is Jesus?. Instead of displaying pride and anger each time they pharisees tempted him, he overcame his emotion with temperance and a gentle nature. His gentle heart made Him simple, for a man with such knowledge and power. He was never boastful and prideful instead He gave our Heavenly Father all the glory. We can also be like C

Be Holy

DATE 9th March, 2023 TOPIC Be Holy LIVING SCRIPTURE 1 Peter 1:15-16 KJV But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation; [16] Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. Holiness is peculiar to the LORD our God and that is the same nature He shares with the church of Christ. God is not dressed in Holiness because He wants to show off like the pharisees, who appear holy but are actually the worst and the opposite of Holiness. God is holy within and without to the point that it is impossible for Him to utter a tiny lie. The bible records that His word is yes and Amen! His thoughts are purity itself and every word He says comes to pass. Jesus Christ also walked in like manner because He believed in the ways of truth and holiness of the Father, not because he came from heaven. There are many today and in time past who were privileged to be born in families of Servants of God but they never believed in truth and holiness. Such like; the

The Hill of God

DATE 8th March, 2023 TOPIC The Hill of God LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 15:1 KJV Lord, who shall abide in thy tabernacle? who shall dwell in thy holy hill? As children of God we all love the presence of God but like in the time of Moses and the children of Israel, it was not an easy thing to access the presence of God. Not because God was difficult or hard on them, but because they were full of complains and a double mind and heart. It was father Moses that had the privilege to access the presence of God daily and seek His ways and paths. We bless the LORD for Christ Jesus, who is the way of access into the presence of God our Heavenly Father. But there's still the aspect of the unqualified man and the stain of sin and the ways of the flesh. Who shall abide in the tabernacle of the Lord; willingly and whole heartedly? The question went further, who shall dwell in His holy hill; to live permanently as a resident of Heaven here on earth? And we found out that only Holiness i.e.

The Song of Victory

DATE 7th March, 2023 TOPIC The Song of Victory LIVING SCRIPTURE Exodus 15:1 KJV Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the Lord, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the Lord, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea. When God turns situations around for our good we become like them that dream and our mouths are filled with laughter and a new song. On that day Israel was liberated and totally delivered from the hands of the Egyptian tasks masters and Pharaoh's cruelty by the victorious hand of God. Heaven was on their side, as the sword of the LORD pierced through the red sea and it parted making the waters form two pillars and a passage of dry ground for the children of God to walk through. The most amazing thing that happened that day was how God worked miracles and war tactics. He carried the Israelites that were trekking through the passage safely and sustained the Egyptian soldiers and riders with no pa

Praising the LORD

DATE 6th March, 2023 TOPIC Praising the LORD LIVING SCRIPTURE Philippians 4:4 AMP Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! It's is a good thing to praise the LORD and adore Him for His glorious and majestic deeds. Daily the Angels of the LORD and the twenty four elders and the four beasts cease not praising and worshipping the LORD. This morning we need to just praise Him with the whole of our heart, no request just songs and hymns and spiritual songs unto the LORD. King David was a high praiser and a lover of God. His heart beats for the atmosphere and presence of the Lord. He testifies of this in Psalm 122:1-2 KJV I was glad when they said unto me, Let us go into the house of the Lord.  [2] Our feet shall stand within thy gates, O Jerusalem. The house of the Lord is a place of joy, it is not necessarily a building or a structure but the readiness and statement of the heart.  Are we glad when it's time for worship? Prayers? Fellows

Love Your Neighbor

DATE 4th March, 2023 TOPIC Love Your Neighbor LIVING SCRIPTURE Matthew 25:35-40 TPT For when you saw me hungry, you fed me. When you found me thirsty, you gave me something to drink. When I had no place to stay, you invited me in,  [36] and when I was poorly clothed, you covered me. When I was sick, you tenderly cared for me, and when I was in prison you visited me.'  [37] "Then the godly will answer him, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty and give you food and something to drink?  [38] When did we see you with no place to stay and invite you in? When did we see you poorly clothed and cover you?  [39] When did we see you sick and tenderly care for you, or in prison and visit you?'  [40] "And the King will answer them, 'Don't you know? When you cared for one of the least important of these my little ones, my true brothers and sisters, you demonstrated love for me.' A neighbor is an important person or individual in the teachings of

The Light

DATE 3rd March, 2023 TOPIC The Light LIVING SCRIPTURE John 1:9 KJV That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John the Baptist the son of Zacharias and Elizabeth was preaching about a particular light that is to come and shine on every soul here on earth. He declared that he was not the light so that men would not see him as one, he never drag the place of Christ in his teachings. Rather he told them that Jesus is the true light of God, and the only one with the capacity to drive away every and any form of darkness around our lives. And this light shinesqnd darkness cannot (which means it is impossible) for it to understand the language and force of Christ Jesus. This truth is spread throughout the world for all to be set free. As many as believe on Him, will receive the Light and be lightened up by the Light of God.  TO-DO   Access the Light of God through His Words and through His Spirit. PRAYER Heavenly Father I thank you for releasing the True Lig
