PECULIAR PEOPLE

Date 📅 31st August, 2022 Topic Peculiar People  Living Scripture 1 Peter 2:9 KJV But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light: In the beginning God the Father was and is and is to come for a particular kind of people as He once did with Adam and eve in Eden. He created the heavens and the earth and everything that lives and breathes. And by the power of His Word He made man in His own image and likeness. Therefore man was made right from the beginning to be peculiar and fit for the glory of God. There was no plan in God's holy palm to reduce man to a pauper, it was our sinful ways and disobedience that caused us to fall short of this beautiful inheritance our first father once partook of. A peculiar People stands different, out of the ordinary, unusual and unpredictable from a specific clan or place. The scripture reads t

BUILDING HOPE

Date 📅 30th August, 2022 Topic Building Hope Living Scripture Colossians 1:27 KJV To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory: The story of Hannah the wife of Elkanah in the book of 1Samuel was a great show of hope built on God. Hannah was a woman with much sorrow but she was not confused. She knew where her help lies and followed through with prayers and fastings and in keeping herself for the appointed day of the Lord's visitation. The above scripture reads "Christ in you, the hope of glory" that's why Hannah never gave up on believing that God will give an answer of peace. She never sought after alternatives the scripture reads "1 Samuel 1:12 KJV And it came to pass, as she continued praying before the Lord, that Eli marked her mouth." Instead of gossiping, running from pillar to post, or to any strange god, she continued with her persistent prayers

Broken and a Contrite Heart

DATE 📅 29th August, 2022 TOPIC Broken and a Contrite Heart LIVING SCRIPTURE Mark 14:3 KJV And being in Bethany in the house of Simon the leper, as he sat at meat, there came a woman having an alabaster box of ointment of spikenard very precious; and she brake the box, and poured it on his head. The psalmist King David enjoyed the blessings of being broken and open to the LORD. Psalm 51 reads: Psalm 51:17 KJV The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise. God seeks men that are broken and willing to walk in purity and holiness. It doesn't matter our former or present state, what's more important is our hearts cry of repentance to God.  The woman in the scripture refused to give up on life, though it seems there was no hope for her anywhere nor was there any man to assist her with the issues of life. The testimonies of Christ Jesus that she heard was sufficient enough to pierce through her heart and she became

The Faithful Steward

DATE 📅 26th August, 2022 TOPIC The Faithful Steward  LIVING SCRIPTURE 1 Corinthians 4:2 KJV Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful. A faithful steward is a wise man, that is given a task or an assignment for a certain period of time to manage or oversee. One with a fruitful outcome with regards to the task given. God the Father has placed many stewards on this earth with so many responsibilities to effect and affect the lives of many through devoted service. The bible records many devoted stewards and a few unfaithful ones for us to learn from and decide which steps to follow. A certain business man was set for a journey to expand his business called out 3 stewards and assigned them tasks according to their capacity. Each had different assignment and the faithful ones went on to trade with their capacity and it yielded much more profit making the business of the master fruitful. But to the unfaithful steward the master was wicked for giving him

SOLUTION

DATE 📅 25th of August, 2022 TOPIC SOLUTION  BIBLE TEXT Genesis 41:7 KJV And the seven thin ears devoured the seven rank and full ears. And Pharaoh awoke, and, behold, it was a dream. (Study the Whole Chapter) CAPSULE : Pharaoh was a great ruler and king in Egypt, he was powerful and revered amongst his people and other kingdoms. In all his greatness, he acquired the services of many servants, spiritualists, magicians and all the best wise men (knowledgeable ones) were employed to serve and attend to his needs. On a certain day, while he slept at night, he had two different dreams at intervals and when he woke up he was confused and his spirit was troubled.  He needed peace and interpretation and hopefully a solution, so he called for all the magicians and all the wise men. But none of them could interpret the dream nor profer a solution. One could say what a waste! Having this much learned men and magicians and none could do anything to give Pharaoh peace. He never knew t

The Good Shepherd

Date 📅 24th August, 2022 Topic The Good Shepherd Living Scripture John 10:11 KJV I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. CAPSULE Jesus Christ is our good shepherd, which shows us responsibility and sacrifice. It is only a true leader that will go an extra mile to ensure total safety and provision of his people. He was never careless, He never lacked focus and none went missing amongst His sheep fold. The ways of Christ brought about relationship between the shepherd and the sheep, he attended to their needs and was ready to die for them no matter the confrontations they faced, which he did as a necessity for victory on the cross of Calvary. Young David was a shepherd boy with similarities and qualities of a good shepherd. He never ran from an enemy or beasts which attacked his sheep. He was bold and courageous because he was also a sheep under the Chief Shepherd - Jesus Christ the Son of God. Many leaders run away at the slightest confront

SEEKING GOD

DATE 📅 23rd August, 2022 TOPIC SEEKING GOD LIVING SCRIPTURE Psalm 63:1 KJV O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is; (Study the Whole Chapter) CAPSULE : This wonderful text of scripture was written by King David from the depths of his heart as he sought after the Almighty God. His heart was hungry to know more of God, the testimonies of what the LORD did triggered more hunger in him to rise up early daily just to seek after the one true God. When other young men were chasing shadows, wealth, ambition, ladies and slumbering, David was seeking God. As children of the LORD we need to develop a hunger for God, learn to spend time with God. Take out time to know this Wonderful Wonder. King David said "my soul thirst for thee, my flesh longs for thee" - this is a sign of total surrender of both his soul and body, that many have abused theirs and are carnal about.

DESTROYING STRONGHOLDS

Date 📅 22nd August, 2022 Topic Destroying Strongholds Living Scripture 2 Corinthians 10:4 KJV (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) CAPSULE   It was on that cross that Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God settled everything. And gave freedom to the church with His blood and powerful name. Satan tries to mount on individuals by placing spiritual weights on the person. A stronghold is a fortress that houses the dominant residents, in plain terms; it is a very fortified building or force either spiritually or physically that permits for easy possession, penetration and manipulation.  This often starts with the kind of decisions and thoughts we ponder on daily, which affects our emotional balance. When such happens, the enemy walks in and adds his own ingredients to establish doubts, fears, frustration, oppression and confusion. A stronghold is often guarded by a strongman who monitors the developments o

Date 📅 20th August, 2022 Topic The Way Out Living Scripture John 14:6 KJV Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. Jesus gave to the church these Words of victory and direction for He knew a time like this will come. Are you abused brusied or stranded and at a tight spot in life, marriage, relationship, education, business or career? Forced to take a decision that will affect lives and even yourself? Or have you seriously gone deep into that covenant or oath or actions of sin? And the devil is threatening you with death and terrors! Hear this: Fear not! Don't give up and don't give in to the devil, he is a liar and a defeated foe!  Jesus has a word for you this morning "I am the Way". He speaks to your heart gently waiting for your response in order to take up your case and take away your cares and burdens and set you free. The way out of trouble is Jesus Christ, the solution to every situation

Maintaining God's Vessel

Date 📅 19th August, 2022 Topic Maintaining God's Vessel  Living Scripture 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 KJV What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? [20] For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's. LIGHT: You are no longer the same person once you are in Christ Jesus. The former landlord was you but now the new Master is Christ and the Holy Spirit living in you and with you. We must understand the Word of God, to be able to access the will of the LORD. Before salvation we often fell into repeated sins and snares of life when we thought we could lead the way. Several folks ended up abusing themselves, engaging in sexual immorality and writing inked tattoos on their body after receiving Jesus Christ as Lord and savior. This morning, the Lord is speaking to His children, saying "maintain my body". If any man is in Chri

THE WAGES OF SIN

Date   18th August, 2022 Topic The Wages of Sin  Bible Text Romans 6:23 KJV For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Sin has its own reward for whosoever meddles with it. Our Lord Jesus Christ, always counseled many that had an encounter with Him, He said often to them "go and sin no more!" God's plan for His children is a life free of sin and the works of the flesh. But our untamed lustful desires has always corrupted our minds. Many believers and individuals fail to realize the truth, that is, there is a reward for every sinful act! Lucifer rebelled against the Most High God and his payment or salary is eternal suffering in the lake of fire and brimstone. A little lie, a little disobedience and even a small fraction of sin it doesn't matter what type or size of sin either big or small. There's always a reward for every offender. Let's steer clear of sin because Satan has a lot of strategy t

THE GLORY OF THE LORD

Date 17th August, 2022 Topic THE GLORY OF THE LORD Bible Text Exodus 24:17 KJV And the sight of the glory of the Lord was like devouring fire on the top of the mount in the eyes of the children of Israel. What a sight! The Glory of the LORD often came down like a covering cloud over the children of God until when Moses the servant of God went into fellowship with God. The people saw it visibly and described it like a devouring (all consuming) fire. The glory of God was spiritually natural on the first man and he could do anything and go anywhere without fears for he commanded everything. When God's glory is upon us we are secured. Adam lost this covering because of disobedience which led to sin and he became naked (spiritually) lacking heavenly coverage and back up! Declare - O Lord, by your mercy and grace! I shall not be naked in Jesus name. The bible reveals to us the reason we are outside this wonderful, powerful and invincible presence of God. Romans 3:23 KJV For a

Obedience

Date 16th August, 2022 Topic Obedience Bible Text 1 Samuel 15:22-23 KJV And Samuel said, Hath the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord ? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams. [23] For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king. Disobedience is an expensive currency which can bankrupt a man in the sight of the Most High God. While Obedience is the key into a hassle free breakthrough and advancement in life. Prophet Samuel defined Disobedience as "Rebellion, a sin of witchcraft and the human agent which causes such action in the character of a child of God is stubbornness - an iniquity and idolatry (lustful desires for what is not permitted). King Saul was given an instruction to waste his enemies but he disobeyed and got carried away by his lu

The Good Samaritan

Date 15th August, 2022 Topic The Good Samaritan Bible Text Luke 10:33 KJV But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him, An act of kindness from a good heart was illustrated in this verse by our Lord Jesus Christ when defining a true neighbor. Goodness is a fruit of the Holy Spirit which is seen in the spirit of a submissive child of God (Galatians 5:22 KJV But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,). It takes one who truly understands God to show an act of kindness. A certain man suffered an attack from brutal thieves and was left half dead, with no possible help whatsoever. A certain Priest and levite passed by ignoring a soul in need probably thinking it's not their problem and left him to suffer still. Goodness is not by title or position occupied but by a heart that knows love(God) and this kind of love is Agape (the Giving Love) which is unconditional. Th

Daniel's Prayer

Date 13th August, 2022 Topic Daniel's Prayer Bible Text Daniel 9:2-3 KJV In the first year of his reign I Daniel understood by books the number of the years, whereof the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah the prophet, that he would accomplish seventy years in the desolations of Jerusalem. [3] And I set my face unto the Lord God, to seek by prayer and supplications, with fasting, and sackcloth, and ashes: (Study the Whole Chapter) Daniel was a man with true hunger for the truth of God's Word. He laboured often in prayers for the revelation of the Word because it is wrapped in parables. His hunger led to an encounter which brought great impact. In the previous chapter Daniel had an encounter he could not recover from which brought about this hunger to understand the mysteries hidden in the Bible. Now we see why Apostle Paul achieved more because he laboured in prayers not the kind of prayer to kill an enemy which is most common today, but a prayer to understand the sec

He that winneth souls is wise

Date 12th August, 2022 Topic He that winneth souls is wise Bible Text Proverbs 11:30 KJV The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. The Word of God speaks in great parables and often times we can understand the wordings in plain terms. Right now we live in the dispensation of the Holy Spirit - the author of the Bible. Having Him in our lives is a must if we want the perfect will of God for our lives. Looking at how valuable a soul is to God that the Host of Heaven rejoices when a sinful and corrupted soul is saved, washed clean and reconciled back to our Heavenly Father (back to originality). Luke 15:7 KJV I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance . The Holy Spirit reveals the true meaning of the Word of God to the children of God. Speaking that he that wins a soul is wise! It is a wise action for the children of God to take

Don't be Afraid

Date 11th, August 2022 Topic Don't be Afraid Bible Text John 14:27 KJV Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. Christ Jesus is speaking to our hearts this morning, "don't be confused, don't fret, don't be afraid! Many children of God are faced with diverse kinds of challenges of life and often forget the words of Christ. The Word of God should be in our hearts always just as God our Heavenly Father instructed the church in (Joshua 1:8) - we need to draw closer to the truth of God's word by meditating on the Words of life. And shun the lies of satan which causes fears and confusion that destabilizes the mind of a man and makes the individual look insane.  Let's hold on to the words of our Master Jesus Christ, who dealt with diverse kinds of confrontations and challenges of life which He overcame, so that you and I can be free and lead a l

Taking Your Track

Date : 10th August, 2022 Topic :  Taking Your Track Bible Text: Hebrews 12:1 KJV Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, A race is a progressive movement towards a goal. And each athlete must take their track before the race starts and must maintain their track to the finish line. Apostle Paul led by the Spirit of Christ taught the church with this example, teaching believers the way to start life's journey, ministry, marriage, business and any call of life is to take your track. The similarities between a race track and pursuing ones goal in life reveals so much to us if truly we want to finish well. We need to discover our track, what field of life am I called into? - this question will help you discover & see your track. After realizing it, you have to take your track because no one can run

Defeating Goliath

Date :  9th August, 2022 Topic :  Defeating Goliath Bible Text : Proverbs 18:10 KJV The name of the Lord is a strong tower: the righteous runneth into it, and is safe. Defeating the enemy is the work of the Lord and not ours. Christ has won the grave, sin and death all at once while He was on earth. Hallelujah! This victory-mindset is what we should take into battles and confrontations of life. It is the name of the Strongest being in existence that sets us free from strongholds and strong men and all the forces of darkness. The name of Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God is a strong name. Taking refuge under Him guarantees total victory and safety from all harms and attacks. Young David went to see his brethren at the battle field and soon realized that the enemy was a strong one but the LORD God of Israel was much stronger. This built up his confidence, remembering his testimonies over the beasts he slaughtered which attacked his sheep, and David took a stand & God
