May 31st 2021 TOPIC: In the Beginning was the Word TEXT: John 1 vs. 1 – In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. The ancient Words of the Heavenly Father, was written by holy men who were inspired by the Holy Spirit (the Ancient one), for God’s children, to learn from it’s wisdom, as a guide, a principle, a set of glorious instructions and the way of Truth. 2 Timothy 3:16 KJV - All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: This is called the Word of God. And without the Spirit of God you cannot understand what the Bible says. How old is the holy scripture you might ponder on someday, seeing many scrolls of the past and how men (archeologists) explore the earth to find the beginning of the Word but remain, till date, unproductive and unfruitful. May 30th – Capsule 30 TOPIC: THE TOUCH OF FAITH BIBLE SCRIPTURE: MARK 5 VS 24 – 34, LUKE 8 VS 40 – 56 The scripture above talks about the steps the woman with issue of blood took to get her permanent healing. The Bible says the woman had suffered many things in the hands of men, her first step was: 1. Trust in men and their knowledge: the woman knew people, the best doctors, doctors that had their degrees and years of practices in advanced medicine with years of medical experience, but no supernatural experience. She trusted in their knowledge, but it grew worse. Putting your trust in men and their knowledge will limit God in your life. Men must have given you false hopes and disappointed you, it is time to turn to God. Psalm 118 vs 8 says It is better to trust in the Lord than to put confidence men and princes. May 29th – Capsule 29 TOPIC: THE ONLY ONE BIBLE TEXT: STUDY 1 KINGS 19 VS 10 – 18 Elijah, a prophet chosen and anointed by God to carry out an assignment to bring down the altar of Baal and kill the 450 prophets of Baal, which he did. But 1 Jezebel threatened to take his life and he fled. Elijah must have thought: • I am tired, when will this end? • Am I the only one in the whole of Israel available to do this? • This calling always has my life in danger of death and shame • It is better I run away from all this • God can see that I tried, so I give up. Do you find yourself in such depressing situation? You might be the only active member in your church unit. You might be the only one taking care of your family.  You might be only one with integrity in that office. You might be the only one everyone is calling for help.  It seems you are the only one showing affection in that marriage. In fact, it looks like a whole lot is on you and you are at the verge of breaking down. E

BIBLE TEXT : I have set the Lord always before me: because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved – Psalm 16 vs 8 We get seemingly carried away in worship when we reverence God with this popular song: ‘I’ll put you in front, in front of my melody, You are all that matters'. The song went further to say: ‘I’ll make room for two, You and I Jesus, You are all that matters. The Psalmist says: I have set the Lord always before me; I have given the Lord a permanent position always before me, and then he added, because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved; because He is beside me; to hold me, to carry me, to comfort me, to talk to me, to counsel me. Who is before you? The Psalmist made a solemn decision to put the Lord before him; and afterwards, the Lord settled at his right hand. May 27th – Capsule 27 TOPIC: THE HIGH PRIEST BIBLE TEXT: Seeing that we have a great high priest that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession – Hebrews 4 vs 14 In the Old Testament, the children of Israel had anointed priests, which were men and the first was Aaron, the brother of Moses. These men the Bible talks about all served as mortal priests and are all dead but glory unto the Father who gave the church His begotten Son as our eternal high priest. The job of a high priest is to enter the Holy of holies (inner sanctum) once a year on the Day of Atonement to burn incense and sprinkle sacrificial animal blood for his sins and those of the people but Christ is our living sacrifice and His blood is always sprinkled for our sins. God's grace and mercy brought this kindness, for us to understand God’s love. May 26th – Capsule 26 TOPIC: DON’T BE CONFUSED BIBLE TEXT: Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God – 1John 4 vs 2. Many innocent ignorant folks in the world today have been deceived and many more are still living in total confusion and deception. There are many false prophets and men of God today using dark powers to confuse and deceive God's children. The above scriptures reveals how to come out of religious confusion and ignorance.  Any spirit at work in any minister of God or men out there that denies the fact that Christ came in the flesh, such personality is possessed or demonized. May 25th – Capsule 25 TOPIC: GOD'S PLAN FOR YOU BIBLE TEXT: And let them have dominion over the fishes of the sea, and over the fowl of the air and over the cattle, and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth – Genesis 1 vs 26b. A life of dominion is the plan of God for His beloved children. Any other state of life present in this world is not God's plan, but a phase through which man can access this master plan called ‘dominion’. In the garden of Eden, Adam and Eve dominated until sin stained their presence and God's glory departed. Likewise today, many Christians and people of this world seek freedom and rest but cannot access it because they live a constant life of sin. When sin settles in a man or a family, they lose their authority as a home and confidence as children of God. May 24th – Capsule 24 TOPIC: THE WAY OF THE WIND BIBLE TEXT: The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth; so is everyone that is born of the spirit – John 3 vs 8. Every Spirit filled believer must understand the way of the Holy Spirit as described using the wind. As a believer, if the enemy can predict your actions, then you are not walking and working in the ways of the Spirit. The above scripture reveals that the sound can be heard but the direction, action and source cannot be discerned or predicted by anyone or spirits of darkness. In other words, a spirit filled  child of God is a mysterious man. Study 1 Corinthians 2 vs 6 – 8. May 23rd – Capsule 23 TOPIC: NOT ASHAMED BIBLE TEXT: For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to everyone that believeth; to the Jews first and also to the Greek – Romans 1 vs 16. Are you ashamed of Christ wherever you go? Apostle Paul addressed this issue amongst believers in Rome, that he is not ashamed to tell the Pharisee’s, the Romans, the gentiles about Jesus. Many Christians today are guilty of denial on their Christian identities. A certain righteous man was facing his wilderness period and was left with nothing and the only physical help he could get was to deny God and take shortcut into wealth, but he refused, even his wife pressured him but he ignored her foolish counsel.  This man is Job in the Bible, who refused to deny the gospel of truth at the face of trials and temptations. May 22nd – Capsule 22 TOPIC: BE MERCIFUL BIBLE TEXT: Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy – Matthew 5 vs 7 In the world today, there are many men with unforgiving hearts who beat their chests to say that forgiveness is a sign of weakness whereas forgiveness is strength and love. Our Heavenly Father taught this sermon on the mount that there is a trading system in the realm of the spirit which manifests here on earth. This trading system involves an action and he who sows shall reap from their seeds.  A certain man was a debtor and the hour of his debt elapsed and he was called to settle what he owed, for it was a huge sum of money, but this man pleaded because his family were to be sold to cover his debt. He ran to the church, knelt at the altar and worshipped God and asked for help and the mercy of God spoke patience and grace before those he owed, and mercy cleared his debt and he returned a free man.  But another owed this same man that has obtained merc

May 21st – Capsule 21 TOPIC: BE COURAGEOUS BIBLE TEXT : Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need – Hebrews 4 vs 16 . Jesus made it easy for the church today, to access the Heavenly Father through his Sacrifice on the cross, His Word and the gift of the Holy Spirit. God operates in love and faith and expects from mankind the same actions. “ Therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace”, Apostle Paul got this revelation as stated in his letter to the Hebrews, that to approach God and the things of the Kingdom of God, we must not be afraid, nor fret but be courageous. Fear corrupts and stains believers faith by introducing doubts and insecurities around the lives of brethren. The Word of God says, ‘For God has not given us the spirit of fear”. May 20th – Capsule 20 TOPIC: A LYING TONGUE BIBLE TEXT : The lip of truth shall be established forever: but a lying tongue is but for a moment – Proverbs 12 vs 19. A man once ruled in a great kingdom and he was the most blessed by His master, the Great king, and several secrets of his business were revealed to this man. Shortly after some years passed and this man who ruled thought evil against his master, who gave him a kingdom and went about lying to many in the palace of the Great King and violence broke out because this unsatisfied man wanted to be like his master, the Great king. The device he used was called ‘a lying tongue'. His plans failed because no one could defeat this Great King. Lucifer is the father of liars (John 8:44) he is the unsatisfied man who was defeated by the army of the Great King and this Great king is our Heavenly Father. May 19th – Capsule 19 TOPIC: PATIENCE BIBLE TEXT: For ye have need of patience, that after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise – Hebrews 10 vs 36 A believer must equip him or herself with this virtue from on the tree of the Holy Spirit. Without it, man becomes a monster, desperate and misled. To walk in the will of God Our Father, you must seek righteousness and in doing so, you need patience from the Lord and it starts the moment you trust Christ Jesus and His written Word.  The above scripture reveals this truth, that there is a promise to be received through patience. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, ‘Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth? – Luke 18 vs 8b. This question is to challenge every believer to wait patiently for the promise of Our Lord Jesus Christ and not lose hope in the Word of God. May 18th  - Capsule 18 TOPIC: THE OFFERING OF A REMORSEFUL SINNER BIBLE TEXT: “ And behold a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at meat in the Pharisee’s house, brought an alabaster box of ointment – Luke 7 vs 37. The ministry of Christ Jesus is a one of reconciliation and love to all sinners and saints. This particular sinful woman was well known through out the city for she had many friends in pleasure and sin. Right there in the city, salvation came to town and the Word through evangelism got to her palace and she prepared herself to meet this Jesus Christ who is called the Son of God, to surrender the most valuable thing she ever had and what led her into sin.  She chased money and wealth and got it, but had no peace and salvation. May 17th – Capsule 17 TOPIC: A CLOCK HEART BIBLE TEXT: Therefore his sisters went unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom thou lovest is sick . . . . he said, this sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God . . . . then when Jesus came he found that he had lain in the grave four days already – John 11:3-4&17 Believers today have a clock heart, we always want things done fast and for it to go our way, which is not bad, I also desire such but we must understand that the ways of our Heavenly Father are different from ours. May 16th – Capsule 16 TOPIC: DISCIPLES OUT OF THE WILL OF GOD BIBLE TEXT: From that time many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with Him – John 6 vs 66. When you show loyalty, is it with all your heart? A true born again Christian follows with everything and not one-leg in and the other out in pleasure and carnality. The disciples of Christ were many at first but only His chosen 12 were willing to submit their lives to Christ sincerely. Many bear the title “Christian” and are proud of it, but are not willing to walk as disciples of Christ sold out to God's will. The pleasures of this world has corrupted many brethren and disciples of Christ who become lustful, then fall into sin and are now spiritually dead in faith. May 15th – Capsule 15 TOPIC : PURE IN HEART BIBLE TEXT: Finally brethren, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things – Philippians 4 vs. 8. The bible reveals an encounter of a man with a pure heart (righteous) in accordance to the will of God. This man was also a disciple of Christ, he was recognized as one with a pure heart. He was educated, sincere and honest in all his doing. Amongst the twelve apostles of Christ, Nathaniel or Bartholomew was much respected. The purity of his heart gave him honor amongst men – John 1 vs. 45 -51.  To be pure as a Christian, you must be honest and a man of integrity, living for Christ at all times in your place of work, business, school, marriage and all other endeavors. May 14th – Capsule 14 TOPIC : MOLESTED AND ACCUSED BIBLE TEXT : And it came to pass about this time, that Joseph went into the house to do his business . . . . . . Gen 39:11-14 Abuse is another device of the devil to stain the soul of an innocent individual through forceful means either through physical, verbal, psychological or sexual measures. Others are molested through dreams by demonic spirits. So many homes today have had cases of abuse and molestation and even the world records various cases almost on a regular basis. May 13th – Capsule 13 TOPIC : ENTICEMENTS BIBLE TEXT : But man is tempted when he is drawn away of his own lust and enticed - James 1:14 As a believer, have you thought on the ways and mode of operation of the devil and his demonic spirits? Apostle Paul speaks in the Spirit “for we are not ignorant of his devices” – 2 Corinthians 2 vs. 11. Enticement is a major device of the devil against the body of Christ, this manipulative tool was used right from the creation of the first man and woman (Adam and Eve) on earth. Eve was enticed by the devil and he got access into the mental realm.  Samson the great judge of Israel with glorious strength and might was enticed and his journey was cut short. May 12th – Capsule 12 TOPIC : ARE YOU A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST? BIBLE TEXT : Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ – 1 Corinthians 11 vs. 1 Who is a follower of Christ? The bible reveals several men and women that followed Jesus Christ with glorious testimonies. Before you can also say “I am a follower of Christ”, the gospel and the Spirit of truth must be dwelling in you. Jesus Christ the Son of God showed us the way by teaching and doing the will of the Father right here on earth.  As a true follower of Christ Jesus, you must die to self-will and live in God’s will. When you receive Jesus and still hold on to your will, you will fall out of the plans of God for your life. Many Christians today are saved, spirit filled but out of the will of God, they have been separated from the purpose of their existence. God didn’t create man to be a waste but a channel of His true love without conditions to the world. Your life can touch a nation. A true follower of Christ

May 11th – Capsule 11 TOPIC : DO IT NOW BIBLE TEXT : Redeeming the time, because the days are evil – Ephesians 5 vs. 16 How many times have you said, “I will do it tomorrow?” sometimes you put somethings off because you don’t think you know enough, can’t do it well enough. The fact is, there is no magic age at which excellence emerges and quality suddenly surfaces. Thomas Jefferson was 33 when he drafted the Declaration of Independence. Charles Dickens was 24 when he began his Pickwick Papers, and 25 when he wrote Oliver Twist. Newton was 24 when he formulated The Law of Gravity. A second danger is to think that creativity and invention belong to the young. Not so! Emmanuel Kant wrote his finest philosophical work at age 74. Verdi at 80 produced crossing the Bar, and Michelangelo completed his greatest work at 87, Moses was 80 when he led God’s people out of Egypt and 120 when he got to Canaan. Seize the day! May 10th – Capsule 10 TOPIC : SPREAD THE “I LOVE YOU” VIRUS BIBLE TEXT : I give you a new commandment: love one another, just as I have loved you, you must also love one another – John 13 vs. 34 A deadly virus rocked the computer world a while ago. Millions logged on one morning to read their email, only to find their computers infected by a virus masquerading as the message, “I love you”. Whomever sent it was clever, they understood the tug of those words. After all, who could resist opening an email with that title? Jesus told His disciples “By this all men will know that ye are My disciples, if you have love (Not doctrinal agreement) for one another” (John 13 vs. 35). We never lose our need to feel loved and appreciated. Never! Even when we act tough and put on a front. So, don’t act like the crusty old Irishman who said to his wife, “I told you I loved you, when I married you 50 years ago – and if it ever changes, I will let you know”. Lower your guard. Open your heart.

May 7th – Capsule 7 TOPIC: ACTING OR REACTING BIBLE TEXT: HE that is soon angry dealeth foolishly – Proverbs 14 vs. 17 The little girl was in a bad mood, so she took out her frustration on her younger brother. At first she just teased him, then she punched him, pulled his hair and finally kicked him in the shin. He could take it all until the kicking began. That hurt! So he went home crying to his mother who said to her daughter, “Mary, the devil made you pull your brother’s hair and kicked his shins”. She thought it over for a moment, and then answered – “maybe the devil did make me, but kicking him was my own idea”. Blaming the devil for everything can be a cop-out. All the evil in the world doesn’t necessarily come from him. A lot of it comes from the heart. Jesus said, “out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies”. (Matthew 15 vs. 19). May 6th – Capsule 6 TOPIC: THE “NOBODIES” OF THE BIBLE BIBLE TEXT: The Lord has opened my ear …………… Isaiah 50 vs. 5 God can speak to you today through anybody. The question is can you hear Him? Naaman, the commander-in-chief of the Syrian army, was dying of leprosy. Did he want to be healed? Yes! But he wanted it his way. But instead Elisha sent his servant out to say to him. But instead Elisha sent his servant out to say, “Go wash yourself seven times in the Jordan” (2 Kings 5 vs. 10).  But Naaman who didn’t like the Jordan because it was dirty asked “Are there not cleaner rivers? (2 Kings 5 vs. 12). But God wouldn’t accommodate his pride – and HE won’t accommodate yours either. Naaman received his healing only after he humbled himself and became willing to listen; first to a slave in his kitchen, and then to some regular soldier in his army who said, “If the prophet had told you to do some great things, wouldn’t you have done it?” (2 Kings 5 vs. 13).  Our problem is, if

May 5th – Capsule 5 TOPIC: POSITION YOURSELF TO RECEIVE BIBLE TEXT: If you hold anything against anyone, forgive him – Mark 11 vs. 25 (NIV) Sometimes forgiving is the hardest thing you will ever do. Jesus said, in effect, “Don’t just dismiss it – throw the case out of the court!” Make a decision never to discuss it again. When you consider how often God has forgiven you, how could you think of doing less? Don’t wait for the other person to ask, and don’t criticize them if they never do – that’s between God and them. Perhaps you are thinking, “I spoke to my mountain and it grew”. But notice that Jesus also said, “Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11 vs. 24). May 4th – Capsule 4 TOPIC: CAN YOU RECEIVE FROM OTHERS? BIBLE TEXT: I assure you: the one who receives whoever I send, receives me - John 13 vs. 20. You would be surprised at how many people live beyond help, because they have an image to uphold. It’s a dangerous place to be. When trials come, not only must you be open to the Lord, but also whoever He sends.  Listen: “And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; …………… and the angels ministered unto him” (Mark 1 vs. 13). Even Jesus needed ministry. He created the angels, yet HE permitted them to minister to Him. The greater was willing to receive help than the lesser. What a lesson for you! When your pain level get high enough, you won’t care who God uses. If you were in a burning house you wouldn’t care who the firemen were. Their education, denomination, and ethnic background, would mean nothing to you, because of the urgency of your need. Perhaps your problem is that you need someone but you don’t

Laying aside things we most enjoy, laying aside the comforts of home to go where His name hasn’t been heard. Things we enjoy the most, to experience those that few will ever know. There are evangelists, pastors and workers, who never sold a tape or write a book, never drew a picture of a crowd, nor gained national fame, but they paid the price. Like Noah, whose membership never exceeded eight souls, they ministered faithfully. They wanted to do more, and the

God promised through Isaiah that things will change radically when you remove this yoke! There are two ministries that go on continually before the throne of God. One is intercession. The other is accusation. Jesus lives to intercede for His people, and if you abide in Him you will intercede for them too (see Hebrews 7 vs. 25). God is raising up people who will confound us – radical Christians. Like those on the day of Pentecost, they were hungry for God. They will raise the roof to get to Jesus.
